Mystery Set | Hand-painted safety eyes

The price includes either a set of five pairs of eyes in the same size, or a set of four pairs of eyes in mixed sizes (one pair per size). Each pair comes in a random color. Backings are included with every set.

All eyes are hand-painted to order, so each eye will be unique like a snowflake. The photographs are done in a well-lit environment. The colors may differ slightly based on display or light characteristics they are observed under.

All eyes are made-to-order. Please allow up to two weeks processing time before shipping.
All orders are shipped by courier with tracking.

How to insert

This type of safety eyes, also known as sinker eyes, have a hard-back and cannot usually be easily inserted by hand alone. Use one of the following tricks to make inserting them easier:
- Use a pair of pliers to push down on the backing.
- Leave the backings in very hot water to soften (almost boiled) for a minute or two, then insert them by hand.
- Use a safety eye insertion tool (you can find one on Amazon or Etsy) - these serve the same function as the pliers, creating a wider surface for you to push on using your body weight.

Once inserted, the eye will be almost perfectly flush with the fabric. If the sides of the eyes are visible and sticking out, they need to be pushed in more.

Please note that once inserted, these eyes cannot be taken out again. They are there for good!
